We had two of our grandchildren for a few days and their mom sent clothes for me to photograph them.  Cam turned two in January, yes, I know I am about five months late (oh, the life of a "real" photographer and their own family members ...) and Harper will be five next week!  I LOVE photographing my grandchildren, but it seems they are the last ones to photograph in my "real" world!

At the last minute, I decided that it would be a good opportunity for grandparent photos!  Yes, I said that correctly!!!  I AM GOING TO BE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA....NOT BEHIND IT!  Now, that's a scary thought!  And guess what else was a scary thought?  I did not buy a new dress!  I pulled an old shirt out of the closet for Papa!  I did not color my hair beforehand!  I did not have someone put on my make-up!  I didn't even have a cute pair of sandals!  And as you can tell by the images, I did not lose any weight!  HA

So now no one has an excuse!  Grandparents, here me very clearly!!  No matter what you "think" you look like, no matter how difficult it is to get everyone scheduled, no matter the excuse, please, do yourself and your children and grandchildren a favor and GET your photo taken by a professional photographer!!  These will be around for my grandchildren, great grandchildren and many generations to come!  

And a HUGE thanks to Mandi for capturing these sweet, sweet images for us!  They are precious and will be treasured forever!  And we had a BLAST!!!

Now I just have to round up the rest of them for MORE grandparent photos!!  HA
