She Said Yes!

May 13, 2016  •  3 Comments

When I opened the studio, I knew that God had plans for my life and that He wanted the best for me.  For those of you who know me and who have watched me in this crazy, new business adventure, you know that it has been fun, rewarding, exhausting and hard.  The struggle has been real. The struggle has been intense. But the struggle has all been worthwhile!

I have had to wait on God, be very patient (oh, that is so hard for me!) and trust in His perfect timing.  He has answered me.

I am happy to announce the next chapter of Snapbean is about to begin and introduce to you the newest member of the team!  Her name is Amanda Wilmoth, but we call her Mandi (or Sally Field, as I call her). Some of you have already met her, as she's been helping me out part-time for several months. For those of you who haven't, I can't wait until you do! Here's a little bit about her and why I'm so excited 'She Said Yes!' when I asked her, officially, to join me...

Hey, y'all! I am so excited to be joining Donna in this new adventure!

As a Marketer/Graphic Designer/Photographer/Comedian/Mom/Writer/Creative Director, I hope to be a blessing here at Snapbean! I have a unique background that has prepared me well for this new adventure! I started in the publishing industry and worked for a pre-media company for 15 years. During that time, I also worked on several additional projects (including helping to launch three local magazines). I later went into a Marketing and Graphic Design position with a worldwide manufacturer, located in Hendersonville. And when I accepted the position with Snapbean, I was the Marketing/Design Manager for a company based out of Brentwood where I helped aide in an entire rebrand.

I am married to my very best friend Chris and have the funniest 5-year-old in the history of 5-year-olds! (All moms say that, right?) We live right here in Gallatin and as a family, we love to go fishing, play ball in the yard (with our dog, Lucy!), spend time at our farm and just hang out together.

I enjoy writing, cooking, being a Mom, photography and laughing. (I'm pretty silly... you'll find that out. :)

I am overwhelmed with excitement to join the Snapbean family! Donna is truly incredible at what she does, and I can't wait to learn from her and help take Snapbean to the next level. Thanks to all of you who have welcomed me already! I'm excited to work with you and your families and help create photos (and memories) you'll treasure forever.

Things are about to get (even more) fun!

Over the past three years, I have had a lot of wonderful families, friends, and clients who have stepped up to fill in the gaps whenever and wherever needed.  They have been an integral part of who we are today!  A HUGE thank you to all, but most importantly, thank you, Stephanie, Andrea, Sandra, Jeanne, and, of course, my sweet momma, for your love, support, hard work and belief in this city girl gone country!!

I am so excited to add Mandi to our team!  We will be sitting down and going over everything here at the studio; what works, what doesn’t work, what everyone loves and where we need to make changes.  Growth is always about change.  Change is always about making everything the best for our clients.  Our clients are what makes this dream a reality for us. We plan to introduce new products and new ways to communicate (starting with this, our first ever official blog, which we'll be regularly updating).

We appreciate all of you from the bottom of our hearts.  We love what we do and are so excited that you have entrusted us to capture special moments for you and your families over the years!
